Full Time Position
Synergy Blue is
looking for a Senior Game Developer with strong technical and
engineering skills. As
a lead technical contributor, you will focus on software game development, gaming
platforms and provide guidance to the development team. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative
environment and has a passion and proven experience producing high quality
games.
This role
offers a wide variety of technical challenges to solve and explore related to
innovative slot game-play concepts, networked gaming, and finding creative ways
to meet the demands of players around the globe.
Required Skills & Experience:
·
5+ years of
demonstrated experience developing and publishing high quality games
·
2+ years of
experience with Unity and/or Unreal game development
·
Strong C# skills or
C++ skills
·
Previous professional
software development experience at senior or lead level
·
Agile and Test Driven
Development
·
Experience developing
for multi platforms (android, console, PC. iOS)
·
Demonstrates strong
collaboration skills, working side-by-side among disciplines with varying
levels of technical understanding
·
You take pride in
your work and have attention to detail
·
Strong problem
solving skill, Self-motivated and team-orientated
·
Bachelor’s degree
or diploma in Computer Science or related field; or two-four years related
experience and/or training; equivalent or combination of both
Nice to Have:
·
Experience with
various aspects of game programming (3D, UI, gameplay, sound, physics,
rendering, etc.) a definite plus
·
Experience with
In-app purchases
·
Experience with
Network Architecture and serve side development
·
Experience in
developing networked games using mobile device (specifically real-time, cross-platform
multiplayer games)
Responsibilities:
·
Architect the core
game engine and other components for the game
·
Work closely with
leads in Game Design, Marketing/Analytics, Editorial and Artists to develop a
high quality, functional product
·
Mentor to our team of
developers, artists and designers
·
Implement coding
standards and other best practices for Unity game development
·
Recommend and
integrate development by third party studios and developers
·
Recommend and
integrate with 3rd party technologies to accelerate development
Due to the highly regulated industry,
to be considered for this role you must:
- be over 21 years old
- have a valid driver license and transportation
- pass detailed security and background checks
- pass drug testing
- Must be authorized to work in the United
States on a full-time basis for any employer
