Executive Producer, Broadcast

Purpose of the job:

Digital Domain’s Virtual Reality Platform is searching for an Executive Producer in our broadcast division to lead our team in dominating the VR space. We are the industry leader in producing virtual reality and looking for an Executive Producer who possesses a proven track record in the live music entertainment and/or cinematic space, and who has a passion for jumping in and helping usher the entertainment industry into a new era, bringing immersive, high-definition virtual reality directly to fans.

As an Executive Producer, you’re equal parts content production expert and new business strategist with a creative and technically mind. The ideal candidate is both a charismatic leader and a team-member, someone who has a long-term vision, as well as the ability to roll up his/her sleeves and dive into the day–to-day production of a show. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Managing live content strategy for Virtual Reality vertical at Digital Domain.
  • Overseeing and managing all live Virtual Reality productions
    Developing and pitching creative concepts to content partners
  • Creating and managing budgets and schedules
  • Collaborating with Digital Domain’s sales and marketing teams on content activation and marketing for vertical
  • Managing and developing relationships with content partners, directors, and other creative partners Act as lead on all client accounts
  • Participate in client/project/brand strategy problem solving
  • Proactively seeks incremental business from existing clients
  • Participate in new business presentations and delivery of all proposals to clients
  • Partnering with Production team to provide client deliverables
  • Identify and manage client expectations
  • Develop new project leads through new and existing relationships

Qualifications:

 Education and/or Experience Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in live producing, including but not limited to sports, music and award show vertical.
  • Proven track record producing compelling live events.
  • Line producing experience required.
  • Experience developing and pitching creative
  • Experience managing production budgets and schedules
  • Ability to work effectively, gain credibility and respect of others
  • Ability to lead and persuade other, positively influencing the outcome of team efforts
  • Stellar client-facing communication skills required
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and writing skills required
  • Connected, able to bring a ‘new rolodex’ that is complementary
  • Knowledge base of current industry and technology trends preferred
  • Experience in 360° or Immersive experiences a bonus
  • Able to manage high volume of information
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Qualified candidates will be highly-motivated self-starters with an energetic and assertive disposition.
  • Qualified candidate is assertive, energetic, has stellar writing and communication skills and is a self-starter.
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands: 

  • Office working environment
  • Hours for this position are based on normal working hours but will require extra hours pending production needs
  • Walking/bending/sitting
  • Ability to travel both in the U.S. and abroad
