Assistant Technical Director
Description
Brown Bag Films is recruiting for the position of Assistant Technical Director.
The successful candidate will work on a Toon Boom Harmony TV series.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sets up and maintains Toon Boom Harmony Show Environment
- Responsibly for technical approvals on show rigs, and designs
- Provides notes passes and Harmony information related to the show to Department HOD’s
- Problem solves any Toon Boom Harmony issues as needed. Raises issues with Technical Director when required
- Works closely with Technical director to maintain and improve Toon Boom Harmony pipeline.
- Manages shows Rigging Team
- Performs Toon Boom Harmony R and D to achieve bespoke solutions within episodes/Shots
- Attends animation launches for episodes. Providing relevant Toon Boom Harmony process information
- Assists with Asset rigging
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Experience working in Toon Boom Harmony.
- 3-5 years working in a fast paced production environment for TV/Film
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Proven track record of excellent organizational and communication skills
