Assistant or Associate Professor
Description
The Computer Science Department at DigiPen Institute of Technology, Redmond WA, is accepting
applications for a full-time position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Applicants must
have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field. Specializations in machine learning, artificial
intelligence, massive data analytics, scientific visualization, information visualization, and user
experience design are desired, but other specializations will also be considered.
Interest and ability to teach undergraduate and graduate-level computer science courses is essential,
and experience in above areas is desired. An interest in academic research with student involvement is
preferable. Faculty in the department conduct research with graduate students, which is often
incorporated into student theses. Additional responsibilities of the position include professional and
scholarly activities, advising and mentoring students, course and program assessment and
development, supervising student projects, and university/community service. Excellent interpersonal
skills, written and oral communications skills, and a strong command of the English language are
required.

Compensation for the positions is commensurate with experience and credentials. Review of
