Mr. X – Montréal est à la recherche d’un enthousiaste Généraliste 3D, passionné par la production d’animations VFX hyperréalistes. Nous aimons le travail que nous faisons et visons toujours à excéder les attentes de nos clients.

Qu’il s’agisse de créatures ou d’écrasements, notre travail d’effets d’animation, sur des films primés et sur des concepts de télévision, couvre le spectre de design à travers l’animation finale.

DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

En tant que professionnel VFX, et travaillant sous la supervision de ce même département, le Généraliste 3D mets à profit notre flux de travail en production, puis manifeste une pro-efficience à travers un vaste spectre allant du modelage au rendu pour des films live-action et productions de télévision.

COMPÉTENCES

• Capable d’exécuter un vaste éventail de tâches VFX incluant du modelage, texturage, ombrage, squelettage, animation, lighting et rendu.
• Appliquer une connaissance solide des principaux 3D pour créativement rehausser des plans et en pousser la performance.
• S’engager dans chaque étape de production incluant de générer des concepts originaux et leurs designs, pré-visualiser des séquences compliquées, venir en soutien aux ralentissements du flux de travail et aux plans.
• Reconnaitre aisément des problèmes et fournir des solutions.
• Capacité à respecter les échéanciers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 ans d’expérience dans la création de plans pour films live-action et/ou séries télévisées.
• Expérience dans les multiples aspects de la production de plans, modelage, texturage, animation, lighting et composition.
• Connaissance approfondie du logiciel Maya
• Forte connaissance de Photoshop, Zbrush, Mari, Nuke, and Houdini
• Expérience avec plusieurs engins de rendu incluant Vray and Mantra
• Démontre une compréhension approfondie des principes du VFX, et capable d’assurer la production de plans du début à la fin
• Soucis du détail, organisé, communication écrite et orale, efficience
• Capacité de gérer une multitude de tâches de manière indépendante

From creatures to crashes, our effects animation work on feature film and high concept TV spans the spectrum from design through final animation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a seasoned VFX professional and leveraging our production workflow, the 3D Generalist, working under the VFX Supervisor and Leads, will display proficiency across a wide spectrum from modeling to rendering for live action film and television productions.

• Ability to execute a broad range of VFX tasks including modeling, texturing, shading, rigging, animating, lighting and rendering.
• Apply a solid knowledge of 3D principals to creatively enhance shots and push performance.
• Engage with every stage of production including generating original concepts and designs, pre-visualization of complicated sequences, workflow breakdowns and shot support.
• Proactively recognize problems and troubleshoot solutions.
• Able to meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years experience creating convincing shots for live action feature film and/or television series.
• Experienced in various aspects of shot production including modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, and compositing.
• Is considered an expert Maya user.
• Has strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Zbrush, Mari, Nuke, and Houdini
• Experienced with various render engines, including Vray and Mantra
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of VFX principals, and is capable of shot production from start to finish.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, have good communication skills, and be able to independently handle a variety of tasks in an efficient manner.
