We are a Los Angeles based feature film production company creating movies in an AR/VR space. We are in search of skilled Systems Administrator. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best creative minds in the film industry.

You will be responsible for helping to further develop and maintain a virtual production infrastructure. Duties will range from day-to-day system maintenance & support to long term security planning and implementation.  Communication skills are important. You will integrate into an existing systems team and work beside developers, engineers, cg artists and production personnel. You should be driven, positive, and interested in the opportunity to learn new technology and workflows, while adapting to the changing needs of a cutting edge film production.

Appropriate Candidate will possess:

• Experience supporting critical technology infrastructure with an emphasis on Linux.
• Experience supporting / managing large scale NAS storage solutions.
• Experience working with and designing Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Experience managing Brocade and Palo Alto network appliances
• Experience supporting Exchange & Office 365
• Python and Bash scripting
• Analysis and documentation of systems, workflows, and configurations.
• Regular contact with end users to solve problems and increase production efficiency.
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years general experience in enterprise IT environments.
• 3+ years general experience operating mixed Mac/Linux/Windows environments.

Required Skills:

• 1+ years general experience with scripting languages.
• 2+ years working with Puppet, Automated System Builds & Management
• 2+ years’ experience administering high-performance networks.
• 2+ years’ experience developing and operating automation infrastructure.
• 2+ years’ experience with database administration (PostgreSQL preferred).
• 2+ years’ experience with Active Directory services (SSSD/PowerBroker).
• Experience configuring switches and routers (Brocade/PaloAlto Networks)
• Experience with clustered Enterprise Storage (Isilon preferred).
• Experience with virtualization platforms (Vmware/ESXi/VDI).
• Experience with high-availability technologies.
