Wingnut AR is attending Siggraph 2017! If you're attending the conference then come and see us and say hello at the Job Fair. We'll be sharing space with our friends at Weta Digital on booth #15.

Wingnut AR are seeking highly skilled FX artists to join our groundbreaking team of Augmented Reality artists. You will be truly pushing the limits of technology and imagination in order to bring ingenious forms of entertainment to the world.

Responsibilities and Opportunities:

• Creating high-quality FX driven CG content for real time delivery on future Augmented Reality platforms.
• Fundamental understanding of particle systems, rigid body networks, and other technical procedural design systems is essential.
• A self-reliant art-driven outlook is highly encouraged.
• Out-of-the-box thinking and tangential approaches to art driven technical problems are desirable traits.
• An openness for personal expansion and working cross discipline would be a valuable asset.
• Collaborate closely with a broadly talented team of artists and developers to create truly revolutionary content. 

• Highly proficient experience in all aspects of CGI content production is required.
• A healthy balance of Left brain / Right brain thinking is desired.
• Experience with real-time CG, and its various idiosyncrasies is admired.
• Expertise in the following or similar software packages will certainly help : Maya, Unreal Engine, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop, popcornFX.
• 3+ years of applicable experience in feature film, games, or similar

Submission Requirements: 

• Showreel - A well-presented showreel of your best work. A breakdown must be included with the reel. 
• CV - Including a cover letter explaining why you want to work in the Augmented Reality industry and what you can bring to our company beyond your skill set. Please include professional work experience and current references
