Wingnut AR are seeking Pipeline Developer/Technical Directors to join our groundbreaking Augmented Reality development team. You will be working closely with artists, developers and IT, engineering the pipeline backbone empowering the team to push the limits of technology to bring new forms of entertainment to the world.
Responsibilities:
As a Pipeline Technical Director at Wingnut AR, you will:
- Be contributing to the delivery of a number of Augmented Reality projects by shaping the infrastructure supporting the technologies that drive them.
- Create and support pipeline tools within and around DCC apps such as Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine.
- Work closely with artists, developers and IT to design workflow solutions and solve problems.
- Create pipeline tools and process around cutting edge unreleased Augmented Reality hardware.
Desired Skills & Experience:- Being genuinely interested and skilled in designing workflow solutions while being agile and reactive when a situation arises.
- Extensive knowledge of Python, broad experience with other programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Javascript or HTML and libraries such as Qt is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience using Maya and Unreal Engine or other game engines.
- Experience with version control systems such as Perforce and Git.
- Knowledge of and experience using Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
- Knowledge of and experience of Shotgun is a plus.
- Experience with orchestration and automation systems such as Ansible or Saltstack is a plus.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, innovative and creative environment.
- Expert communicator and collaborates well with others.
- Have a love of learning and takes initiative to solve tough problems
- Have 3+ years of applicable experience in feature film, games, or similar
