Pipeline and Research & Development Producer

DHX Media – Vancouver is looking for an experienced Pipeline and R&D Producer to join our team! 

We are looking for an experienced Producer to work within our Pipeline and R&D/Dev team to drive forward new technologies at the studio. Intermediate Shotgun experience is required for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

• Manage an R&D team creating new looks and advanced animation technology - along with the Pipeline team that creates and deploys production-friendly implementations and techniques.
• Produce trailers and test projects to showcase these new technologies, and land new shows.
• Work closely with Pipeline TDs and CG Supes to help define workflows; schedule development tasks to create these new tools and see them successfully deployed.
• Help manage Shotgun workflow setups across the studio, working with show producers to resolve and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with recruitment to staff pipeline & development teams

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 5+ years experience as a producer in animation/vfx/film industry
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Shotgun (production tracking system)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask
• Strong knowledge of 3D software packages and pipelines
