Junior Rigging TD/CG Generalist
Description
We are looking for a Junior Rigging TD/Generalist
who will join our studio and help aid our animation production pipeline. The
artist will work closely with the Senior Rigger, and animation team to help
with character setup, management of assets through the pipeline, and other
generalist tasks throughout the studio.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that
will suit someone in the early stages of their career. Ideal candidates will
already have some industry experience, and will understand the demands and
responsibilities of the position from the outset. It will see you work on many
of our award-winning projects, alongside some of the most talented people in
the industry today.
Responsibilities
· Biped and Quadruped rig setups for production
· Managing prop assets in our pipeline
· Retargeting motion capture animation to custom rigs
· A variety of other tasks as directed by Senior Rigger and Animator
Basic Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Arts, Computer animation or another relevant area of
study, and/or equivalent job experience.
· A basic understanding of anatomy, geometry and animation
· A strong knowledge of Maya and basic MEL.
· A strong attention to detail
· Experience rigging a variety of different bi-ped characters
