Storyboard Revisionist, 3D

Description

As a Storyboard Revisionist, you'll be working collaboratively with the Director, Storyboard Supervisor, and other Board Artists on the team to enhance storytelling and fix problematic sequences in the boards. You can adapt to a wide range of styles while maintaining your great drawing skills and delivering on the direction you have been given. You manage your time effectively and efficiently in order to complete the revisions on schedule and keep the pipeline flowing. Previous experience in boards is required as well as proficiency in Storyboard Pro.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Ensure the work meets the standard of quality set by the Storyboard Supervisor/Director
• Clean up panels as advised by Director and Storyboard Supervisor
• Communicate progress of work to the Storyboard Coordinator and Storyboard Supervisor to ensure all work is completed and submitted on time
• Actively participate in production-related meetings by offering thoughts and ideas
• Assist with and complete production-related assignments
• Keep current on storyboarding techniques and technology
• Carry out duties in a professional and positive manner 

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 1+  years of experience in the industry
• Proficient in Storyboard Pro
• First-rate drawing skills
• Ability to take and interpret direction
• Ability to add great poses and expressions to punch up specific scenes
• Excellent understanding of animation timing and posing
• Familiarity with 3D animation and the strengths and weaknesses of CG animation
• Deadline motivated
• Critical thinking skills
• Able to communicate in a professional and positive manner
• Able to take direction, collaborate, and be a team player
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Must be open to direction and able to embrace change
