Are you a Technical Animator?
You Can
- Work closely with our Animation and Rigging Team as well as our CG Supervisor to identify and implement new techniques and tools in a creative and innovative way
- Identify and solve any technical problems in the Animation pipeline before development support
- Assist with script write ups for Rigging and/or Animator needs
- Set up layout
- Assist with basic rig building in pipeline
- Handle multitasking with multiple machines and open Maya programs
- Use motion builder for motion capture and transfer motion capture for animators
- Anticipate any needs our Animation and Rigging Team may need and communicate them to the proper channels
- Interact closely with other Technical Directors to maintain the pipeline
You Have
- A thorough working knowledge of Python
- Maya generalist skills
- Knowledge in motion builder (or willingness to learn)
- Basic knowledge on Animation
- 2+ years of applicable professional experience as a TA/TD/tools programmer.
- Film industry experience preferred
- A team player mentality with a 'get it done' attitude
