3D Animator - Mobile Game Marketing

MZ Game Studio is looking for a talented and experienced 3D animator to join our Marketing Art team. You have a background bringing characters, creatures to life through gesture, dynamic motion and facial animation. You are a passionate storyteller, with a drive for creating believable animated sequences and instilling personality in your work. You’re a confident multi-tasker with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. You’re also a fantastic collaborator and team player, willing to both give and take feedback to create highly polished creative content.
This is a key role for our team and an opportunity to contribute to MZ Game Studio's Marketing Art’s dedicated CG team. We are looking for someone willing to help us push fidelity, creativity and storytelling to deliver impactful video content relevant to MZ Game Studio's highly successful mobile titles.
What you’ll be doing:
- Contribute to promotional trailers, commercials, and static marketing collateral
- Create high quality animations for a diverse set of content, from humanoid to creatures, and hard surface vehicles
- Work closely with Technical Artist to troubleshoot rig or skin related issues
- Collaborate across the CG team to deliver high quality videos that meet fidelity and design expectations
- Willingly knowledge share and promote best practice
- Successfully produce concurrent and competing projects in a fast-paced environment
Your background and who you are:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years experience creating engaging 3D animated content and promotions
- Experience with Maya is a must have.
- Facial/Lipsync & mocap experience a plus
- Knowledge of best practice and techniques for working with 3D Characters in a video, cinematics or film pipeline
- Proficient time manager, able to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to take constructive feedback and work collaboratively in a team oriented environment
- Flexibility to put in extra hours when necessary
