Assistant Professor - Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor to begin August 2018. Duties include teaching in the undergraduate and graduate computer science programs, maintaining an active research program, and directing undergraduate and graduate students.

Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related area required.

Research with emphasis in computer and network security, embedded systems, smart devices, or Internet of Things (IoT) is preferred.

The Department of Computer Science offers a B.S. degree in computer science, a B.S. degree in information technology, an interdisciplinary B.A. degree in digital arts with the Department of Art and Art History, an M.S. degree in computer science and information systems and an interdisciplinary M.S. degree in data science with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
