You Can
- Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing
- Lead technical team in designing, testing and implementing software solutions to help strengthen and automate technology in a Linux environment
- Assist in building up junior employees skill sets in order to strengthen the team as a whole
- Support Studio in both LA and Melbourne
You Have
- 5+ years experience supporting a VFX pipeline
- Knowledge of CI systems such as Jenkins and Gitlab
- Experience using configuration management (Puppet preferred)
- A strong understanding of Linux and in particular CentOS
- A strong knowledge of automating cloud environments (Google Cloud experience a plus)
- Advanced understanding of network fundamentals
- MySQL replication, backup and monitoring
- The ability to setup, configure and maintain a robust monitoring and graphing platform
- Proficiencies in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
- Familiarity with version control systems: Git, SVN, HG
- Knowledge of Virtualization and containers (Docker Xenserver etc.)
- Experience administering LDAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A highly drive to complete tasks no matter the obstacles
- A need to always learn something new
- Strong leadership skills
- 3+ years of project management experience
