Financial Analyst
Description
Mr. X is on the hunt for a dynamic Financial
Analyst with a strong Accounting background who can thrive in a
fast-paced environment to join our Finance team. It is an exciting time
to join Mr. X as we are in the midst of growing our studio and
integrating Technicolor Canada processes and software. The Analyst
needs to be well versed in the SAP system and responsible for updating
the system with current financial information.
Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing accounting functions for Mr. X's Toronto, New York and LA studios and any other future Mr. X locations
- Assist with the integration projects (moving AR invoicing to Scheduall, A/R invoices being currently made in Excel)
- Assisting the Financial Controller to set up Project accounting
- Creating customer invoices in Scheduall
- Monitor entering vendor invoices in SAP by the Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) in L.A. for accuracy
- Weekly monitoring of A/R and A/P to ensure payments are collected from customers on time and vendors are paid
- Month end Journal Entries preparation for Shared Services Centre
- Month end revenue & cost accruals
- Assisting FSSC in GL reconciliations
- Provide financial analysis monthly, pulling reports from SAP and BW
- Assisting with month end closing
- Process
bank deposits as needed, assist the Financial Controller to integrate
cash forecast into Technicolor process and working with the Collections
team
- Maintain electronic filing
- Process expense reimbursements using online system, Concur and Shared Services Centre
- Assist monthly/quarterly forecast reports as needed
- Participate in budget planning with the local team, Canadian Finance Director and LA counterparts
- Administrative tasks such as filing and other duties as required
Requirements:
- College diploma or University degree in related field
- At least 2 years of SAP experience is required
- 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
- Enrolled or completed CMA/CGA program is preferred
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills; able to create pivot tables and v-look ups
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to speak French would be an asset

Details:
- 12 month contract (Leave coverage)
