3D Generalist
Description
Rocket Studios is an integrated creative production company for print, broadcast, and interactive content. Our studio is located in Hawthorne CA, inside the Lithographix 250,000 square foot facility. We are a studio comprised of artists, photographers, cinematographers, CGI artists, retouchers, etc. Our talented staff has produced photorealistic images and animations for iconic, award-winning ad campaigns for apple iPod, Lexus, Samsung, Honda, and many more.
We are currently seeking freelance to full time 3D Generalists for a number of print & video projects.
Requirements:
Los Angeles based
Proficient in Maya and Arnold
Skilled in creation of photorealistic textures/shaders
Strong lighting skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Positive attitude and ability to work with others
Proactively communicate challenges and troubleshoot solutions
Desirable Skills:
Diverse capabilities in principles of 3D: rigging, effects, scripting, tracking, and compositing
Knowledge of After Effects and Nuke
Experience in both static and dynamic lighting and shadow techniques
Ability to troubleshoot or problem-solve
Good eye for form, composition and lighting
Bonus Skills:
Experience with Mental Ray & Vray
Hard surface and organic modeling
3D and 2D motion graphics
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a solid generalist that can bring a wide variety of skills to the table. Work will be done onsite in our Hawthorne location. You must be able to follow direction and positively receive feedback/notes from the art director and client for revisions.
