To meet the needs of an expanding academic vision and a
growing student body, Ringling College of Art and Design is seeking qualified
candidates for full-time positions in:
(1) Computer Animation Department, 3D Animation
Faculty – Qualified candidates are sought for a faculty member, dedicated
to providing quality instruction, to teach 3D computer animation, which
requires expertise in animation, modeling, texturing, rigging, animating,
lighting, rendering, and compositing in the 3D environment using high-end
resources.
(2) Game Art Faculty, Level Designers/Environment
Artists/Modelers – The Computer Animation Department is seeking a level
designer/environment artist with Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine 4 (UE4)
experience to join a dedicated faculty teaching Game Art. The primary
responsibility of this position will focus on providing quality instruction,
teaching students to create the visual assets that make computer games.
(3) Computer Animation Department, Story
Development Artist – Qualified candidates are sought for a faculty member,
dedicated to providing quality instruction, to teach story development, which
requires expertise in story development and storyboarding. Included among the
Duties and Responsibilities of this position are teaching students to create
and refine visual story ideas that are appropriate for the animated short film.
(4) Department of Motion Design Faculty – Ringling
College is seeking qualified candidates for a position in Motion Design with
expertise for teaching 3D & 2D motion graphics and visual effects.
