seeking a talented Global
Production Manager who will assist Production Management with resource
planning and department workflow.
Job
Description And responsibilities:
• Liaison with New York and Vancouver Production
Management teams
• Resource management support for global production
management team
• Responsible for communicating pipeline and
procedure roll outs to remote offices
• Liaison for Producing teams across all 3
facilities for shared/split shows
• Ensures smooth global communication across
multiple departments
• Coordinate sync transfers of elements across all 3
facilities for shared/split shows
• Increases artist efficiency and utilization
within the 2D & 3D departments
•
Collaborate with Head of Production Management with ongoing efficiency goals, projections
and project plans
• Manages
artist Actuals by checking resource needs against resource allocations
• Looks
for ways to improve and innovate existing workflows and production tools
•
Participates in the data collection and presentation during resource planning
meetings
• FTP &
Interdubs account creation and new show set ups
• Ensures
information in the Database is accurate and up-to-date
• Collaborate with Head of Production Management with ongoing efficiency goals, resource projections and project plans
• Make weekly resources and staffing recommendations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in film,
art, communications, or related field
• 7+
years’ minimum experience in visual effects production and/or post production
•
Willingness to travel
•
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office
•
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability
to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
•
Excellent problem solving skills
•
Positive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure
