3D Animator
Description
Kitazaru, a Sanzaru Games company located in Ottawa, ON., Canada has an immediate Animator position working on next generation console & PC games.
Responsibilities:
- Create 3d animations of humanoids, creatures and implement them into the game engine
- Work closely with Riggers/ Technical Artists to troubleshoot rig or skin related issues
- Maintains, improves, and advances the assets
- Understands the art pipeline and integrates assets into the game engine (Unreal)
- Understands the hardware limitations and common techniques
- Willingly knowledge share and promote best practice
- Works directly with leads & other artists, designers, and engineers
Experience/Skills:
- 2+ years of industry experience as an animator
- Good understanding of animation breakdown for game locomotion and actions
- Experience with facial and lipsync animation
- Working knowledge of Maya
- Working knowledge of Unreal technology a plus!
- Ability to take constructive feedback and work collaboratively in a team oriented environment
- Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to change
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively
