The Opportunity
SensiLab is a dynamic, interdisciplinary research space established to address the contemporary research challenges of the Internet age. Based in Monash’s Faculty of Information Technology and situated within the University’s creative art, design and architecture precinct, the lab collaborates with researchers across the university and builds productive partnerships with leading industry, academic and cultural institutions.
The faculty now requires an Associate Professor or Professor in Creative Technologies to take a leading role in building the research profile of the lab including teaching and service within the Faculty.
As the successful candidate, you will bring your leadership and vision to this dynamic team, contributing to, and directing its various research programs while building lasting relationships with industry and commercialisation partners.
As a leading academic you will have a strong appreciation for interdisciplinary collaboration, and be confident in building this value in the Sensilab team. Your experience providing leadership to both staff and students will ensure your success in this key leadership role.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
