Junior Software Engineer, Mobile (Temp)

Description

NetherRealm Studios, a division of WB Games Inc. seeks a Junior Software Engineer to join the team behind the Injustice and Mortal Kombat mobile games.  Our small, creatively-independent team brings premium action games to iOS and Android devices, utilizing WB's best properties.

As a member of our studio's mobile engineering team, you will work closely with veteran engineers, as well as designers and artists, to make meaningful contributions to our popular and successful mobile titles.

Job Requirements

• Programming for games or mobile applications
• Writing software using the C++ programming language

Preferred Skills

• iOS programming with Xcode and Objective-C
• Android programming with C++ and Java
• Server programming with Javascript/Typescript
• Familiarity with UnrealEngine
• Familiarity with Perforce, or similar version control systems

Other Requirements

• Good understanding and appreciation of object-oriented programming concepts
• Basic knowledge of commonly-used design patterns
• Enjoyment of solving complex problems
• Ability to easily communicate technical topics with both engineers and non-technical people
