Position Summary:
We are looking to hire a full-time VR Game Developer to join our
team in New York Office. You will be a part of a dynamic team working on conceptualizing,
architecting and developing virtual reality applications in the fields of law
enforcement, armed forces, emergency management, humanitarian and medical aid. You
will be working closely with Lead Developer to brainstorm and conceptualize ideas
on cutting edge entertainment technologies and how to take VR experience to the
next level. The ideal candidate will be
highly motivated problem solver and self-learner with the ability to work in
fast paced work environment and with tight project deadlines.
Position Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Work closely with Lead Developer to define, iterate and
implement new features and improving the existing ones.
- Prototype and build next generation VR products.
- Create new scenarios for different VR Experiences in Unreal
Engine.
- Translate requirements into complex and efficient code.
- Maintain existing code, fix bugs and iron out occurring
problems.
- Contribute to the design features of the game: modeling,
shading, lighting and animation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics
or equivalent experience.
- Must have 3+ years working experience in full lifecycle game
development in Unreal 4.
- Hands on experience primarily with C++ and Blueprints.
- Expert in one or more programming specialties (AI, 3D Rendering,
3D Animation, Physics, Multiplayer/Networking, or Audio).
- Must be highly-organized, a fast learner and have the ability to
resolve problems quickly.
- Knowledge of 3DS Max , Maxscript or 3DS Max SDK is a big plus.
Preferred Experience and Expertise:
- Working experience with VR headsets.
- AAA developing
experience preferred, but not required.
