Professor of Architecture

Description

SCAD seeks a full-time professor to join the university’s unparalleled architecture program.

In this role, you will lead architectural design studio courses and seminar courses in construction technology and building systems as well as additional elective courses in your area of expertise.

At SCAD, architecture students learn to apply historical, cultural, theoretical and aesthetic concepts in combination with technical and practical expertise to design buildings that add value to the world and how people experience it.

Requirements:
- M.Arch. or equivalent (DipArch.) terminal degree
- Industry experience, preferably international
- Construction or project management experience preferred
- Experience in college-level instruction preferred
- Professional licensure or international equivalent preferred
- Knowledge in Revit (BIM), GIS, parametric modeling or similar technological knowledge a plus
