2D FX Artists

Flying Bark Productions has a few exciting opportunities to join a team of talented artists working on a thrilling new television series for Marvel, 'What If...?'! We’re looking for 2D FX Artists who can work from our beautiful studio in Sydney and have a passion for storytelling and pushing the envelope with their work.
We are also on the hunt for talented 2D FX Lead to work on the jaw dropping 'LEGO Monkie Kid' starting immediately, and this role can be remote-based!
We're looking for artists who demonstrate:
- Excellent ability to create dynamic 2D visual effects for animation;
- Ability to style match to our in-house style;
- Good sense of effects timing and physics;
- Good knowledge of current 2D effects animation techniques, including choosing appropriate shapes and aesthetics;
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow guidance from creative and technical supervisors;
- Experience in working on digital traditional (paperless) animation software, however a good knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony preferable, however training will be given to the right candidate;
- Interest in and knowledge of modern animation or anime a plus!
