What We Need:

Our Foothill Ranch studio is looking for an experienced Sr. Engine Programmer to contribute to the next iteration of the award-winning NBA 2K franchise. In this role, you will be responsible for owning major runtime systems, including designing and implementing performant and maintainable multiplatform solutions.

What You Will Do:

• Write clean, maintainable, and performant code
• Work with content and engineering partners to identify problems and validate solutions
• Factor development efforts into prioritized tasks
• Map the limitations of existing solutions and identify new solutions where required
• Profile, optimize, configure, and tune for multiple platforms
• Help triage build and productivity blockers
• Model best practices and supervise junior programmers, as required

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit:

• 5+ years of programming experience on commercial software projects, ideally in the video game industry or related fields
• Experience shipping AAA game titles
• Fluency in C/C++, multithreading, 3D math, and memory systems
• Ability to debug and optimize complex systems
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Functional knowledge of PS4, Xbox One, and Switch development tools

Nice to Have:

• Experience with production graphics pipelines
