We are a Los Angeles based production company searching for technical artists to assist our turnover and sequence department prepare shots for turnover to our vendor.  These shots incorporate motion capture, live action plates and key frame animation within our proprietary pipeline.   The position requires strong technical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.  A good sense of animation (realistic physics based) and a cinematic eye are a plus.

Ideal candidates must be able to learn and adapt to new tools and workflows as we are working at the forefront of virtual film production.  This is a unique opportunity to be to work with a state of the art production facility.

Communication skills are important as you will be working with teams of developers, cg artists, concept artists and production personnel.

The project is long term and so we are looking for candidates who can commit to multiple years of work.  We provide competitive compensation based on your experience level as well as medical, dental and vision insurance.

Required:

• Maya experience.
• Ability to follow technical and creative direction.
• Aptitude to learn new tools and workflows.

Experience:

• Motion Builder: 1 year (Preferred)
• Previs: 1 year (Preferred)
• Postvis experience is a plus

·       Experience working in a real time engine is a plus. 

·       TD or Pipeline support experience is a plus.
