Milford is an award-winning animation studio based in Stockholm. Our passion is to tell stories with fantastic characters.
We are looking for a senior rigger to join our team. If you have experience working in a professional studio, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain rigs for a wide range of styles. From stylized cartoon characters to realistic creatures as well as props. Develop modular rigging systems through MEL / Python. Develop publishing workflows / tools for rigs and animation. Work with lead TD's and artists in other departments to integrate rigs in our pipeline. Set up test procedures to minimize problems with the rigs further down the pipeline.
Requirements
At least 3 years documented production experience in a commercial environment. Excellent understanding of anatomy and biomechanics. Fluent in MEL and Python. Experience working with mgear rigging tools is valuable. C ++,
Maya API knowledge is a plus.
Experience in Houdini is a big plus.
