JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ex'pression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, CA, is continuing to build our team of Maya and Compositing specialists. We come from industry experience and are dedicated to building a better co-worker! Ex’pression offers a fun work environment, with talented and hard working students and faculty.

REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of industry experience is required, without exception. Candidates must have a strong portfolio, be excellent communicators, and be well-organized. We are looking for professionals that are leaders; self-starters that will impart that work ethic on our students.

We can only consider current San Francisco Bay Area residents.

DESIRED SKILLS AND PLUSES:
Candidates will excel in one, or preferably many, of the following areas:
Character Rigging using Maya
Modeling (character and environment) using Maya
Special Effects (particles/cloth/dynamics) Using Maya
Compositing using After Effects/Realviz Matchmover/Shake/Photoshop/Maya
Motion Capture using MotionBuilder and Vicon

Ex’pression runs an immersive program to emulate an immersive industry. Our terms run for 5 weeks, year round, with one day off between each term, and regular holidays. The next term starts November 2nd.
Instructor position hours are part-time. All positions have the possibility of becoming full-time, with benefits, if the candidate can fill a niche.
