Visual Effects Artist - BioWare Austin

BioWare Austin is looking for a talented Visual Effects Artist to join our team. Successful candidates will be able to lead the vision of visual effects for our games. The applicant must be have exceptional ability to research, conceptualize, and create natural animated effects (water, smoke, foliage, dust, fabric) as well as fantastical effects (spells, explosions, powers, etc.).

We are also looking for strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work and communicate harmoniously with a team, and the ability to work within the limitation of technical specifications. If you have an interest in fantasy, are driven to create effects never before seen in video games, and have a good eye for effective visual representations, please apply!

Responsibilities
- Able to animate.
- Have an eye for what looks natural/believable.
- Demonstrate a flare for what looks sensational and fantastical.
- Able to keep content relevant to the current project's art style and work within those limitations.
- Be able to share and teach knowledge to other visual artists within the company.
- Performs other duties as required.
