SENIOR MANAGER - PRODUCT SWQA #1598240
This role is to lead the Product SWQA organization. The charter of the Product SWQA team is to own the quality of the product designs built from NVIDIA's world class Tegra product line. The candidate will work closely with internal engineering and business teams and also collaborate with OEMs/ODMs to help engineer and build best-in-class based products.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Own engineering quality into every based mobile product
- Design and implement test plans that ensure products meet the highest bar in quality, power and performance metrics
- Define and execute KPIs that help map the device against the best-in-class market requirements
- Review product quality and drive improvements by closely working with all stakeholders, both internal and external
- Optimize the product test process, procedures and infrastructures and ensure maximum efficiency
- Build a center of excellence around product quality with subject matter expertize in every critical area
- Coach and mentor test engineers on regular basis to drive maximum productivity and efficiency
- Scale the Product SWQA organization to meet the growth requirements
- Support Customer engineering in maintaining customer code line integrity, and field defect reproduction, isolation and debug
- Influence, guide and develop a team that is geographically disperse
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of mobile products and proven experience in engineering successful mobile products
- Possess solid communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and be comfortable working in highly dynamic and collaborative work environment
- 10+ years of relevant experience with at least 3 - 5 years managing a QA organization
- Experience engineering quality into Linux/Andorid based mobile systems is a huge plus
- Extensive working knowledge with the Linux/Android environment
- Be passionate about technology, quality and build amazing products
- BE/BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Electronics
