Established in 2006, ImageMovers Digital is a motion picture studio in Marin County devoted to the performance capture films of Academy Award-winning director/producer Robert Zemeckis. We currently employ over 300 employees and continue to search for talented individuals to join our company. We are currently in production on the feature film “A Christmas Carol” starring Jim Carrey as Scrooge and the three ghosts of Christmas.

Character TD

Designs, implements and creates animation controls and deformation systems to control 3D geometry which may represent characters, creatures, vehicles, props for a Digital Feature production.

Responsibilities:
• Works with animators to ensure building of most effective animation controls
• Oversees and troubleshoots rigging assets through the animation pipeline
• Develops tools, procedures and interfaces to optimize animation pipeline
• Create and maintain studio wide solutions for character and animation pipeline
• Additional responsibilities may include character "effects" such as hair/fur, cloth, muscle, skin/flesh etc.
• Develops character rigs for shot production for projects
