Compositor

Description

General Summary:
The Compositor is responsible for integrating various elements, including live action, stage and cg, into a final image. Incorporates characters, digital objects and environmental effects into a scene, including 2D tracking, set extension, matte extraction, layering of foreground/midground/background elements, roto/paint work and color grading.

Essential Job Functions:
•Combines live action. stage and cg elements into visual effects shots that realize the vision and creative direction of the directors and visual effects supervisor.
•Able to work independently on creative look development using compositing tools.
•Develop and provide visually creative solutions.
•Strong artistic vision, good sense of design and composition.
•Able to work efficiently and independently.
•Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets, demonstrates time management skills and completes work on schedule.
•Communicates effectively with production management. creative leads and technical support teams.
•Good problem solving abilities.
