Training Producer

Description

The Training Producer is responsible for working with the Product Management team and the Author to develop and deliver training products that meet the needs of customers. The Training Producer is responsible for working with the author to develop and prepare the training, directing the author during recording, and working with the production team to ensure the training meets our quality standards and release schedule. The Training Producer is responsible for overseeing multiple projects at the same time in various stages of the product development cycle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicating with Product Management to understand the product requirements and, in turn, work with the author to develop a training course that meets those product requirements.
· Working with authors to develop course outlines, assets, and exercises.
· Working with contract designers to create assets for training courses as required by authors.
· Handling all logistics of the video recording, including making sure authors are prepared prior to recording.
· Coordinating all aspects of the recording and confirming that all people, assets, and equipment are available when required.
· Working with the author to ensure all aspects of the video training are completed correctly, once the video recording is in process.
· Managing and meeting release dates of projects by working effectively with other internal departments and external contractors.
· Working with the production team to resolve any issues during and post recording.
· Reviewing issues logged by the Quality Assurance team, including working with authors as necessary to record pickups and fix exercise files.
· Managing multiple video training projects at one time in various stages of the product development cycle.
