Sr Market Research Analyst
Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Research Analyst is responsible for the execution and support of market research activities. This includes managing primary research for all game content and hardware, supporting sales and marketing activities and providing input to online panels/communities. Must be an organized self-starter who can work independently to execute research studies. The ability to properly oversee and manage multiple projects at once is essential.
This position works directly with internal and external clients. Collaboration with many internal clients/departments is crucial. In addition to managing primary research, this position works on other ad hoc research projects as necessary. Market research experience is required. Ideal candidate must have working knowledge of statistical packages (i.e. SAS or SPSS) to analyze data as needed. Monthly travel is expected.

Qualifications
Education
•BS/BA/BBA or equivalent in Marketing, Psychology, Statistics or related field
Experience
•Three to five years market research experience
o gaming/casino, or supplier side market research, or CPG industry preferred
•Ability to handle many projects simultaneously
•Knowledge of online research practices and methodologies
•Knowledge of standard research test procedures and guidelines

Job Functions
•Design and development of qualitative and quantitative research projects (prototype, intercepts, hardware, advanced R&D) including:
•Determine proper methodology and research objectives
•Study design: screeners/questionnaires/discussion guides
•Oversee research projects making necessary changes as deemed necessary
•Ensure report accuracy and distribution
•Compile executive summaries to research reports and make recommendations to internal clients (Game Development, Engineering, Sales, Marketing Communications, etc.) as well as upper management
•Continue to expand evaluation of product performance through intercepts, panels and other methodology
•Collaborate with team members to continuously improve on processes and procedures
•Participate in meetings with senior leadership, internal clients and vendors

Other Responsibilities
•Monthly travel to oversee research projects
•Support other departments with Market Research data needs (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Product Management)
•Communicate with all internal clients schedules and research results
•Presentation of research findings and results

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
•Supervisory skills or experience preferred
•Skill in managing multiple projects simultaneously
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Team oriented with the ability to work independently
•Proficient in data input, sometimes necessary before research analysis can begin
•Proficient in current PC-based business software, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, standard statistical analysis packages (i.e.SAS, SPSS)
