SENIOR CHARACTER & OBJECT MODELER

Description

Smart Bomb Interactive is looking for experienced Character / Object Modelers with the passion and ability to create models in a variety of art styles. Preference will be given to portfolios that demonstrate experience as a Senior Modeler on titles featuring a stylized and artistic look.

Responsibilities

* Create 3D assets in accordance to style guide and art direction.
* Collaborate with conceptual artists to ensure concept artwork is translated properly into 3D asset.
* Prepare 3D assets to be used in game: polygon and texture optimization, collision, surface behavior, scale, damage states, LOD's, etc.
* Create and apply textures and UV's to 3D Assets.
* Collaborate with Animators to ensure 3d assets are properly prepared for rigging.
* Work closely with the Texture Team to ensure texture style suits the project.
* Meet milestone deadlines on time.
* Solve problems and help promote artistic growth within the studio.
