Senior Game Designer

Description

Midway's Chicago studio is seeking a highly talented Senior Game Designer to collaborate with our design team in the creation of a new action game for next-generation consoles. We require an imaginative and creative thinker who can provide innovative solutions to design challenges, with the know-how to drive them to polished completion. If you’re a hands-on individual with strong design, planning and implementation skills we look forward to hearing from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working with a team of up to 4 designers in the conception and implementation of all game features.
• Contributing to the direction in the creation of innovative game mechanics and an engaging player experience.
• Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the art, tech and audio team members.
• Collaborating on the creation of all design documentation.
• Working closely with the Executive Producer and projects Creative Director on the quality, focus and scope of the game over the course of development.
• Hands-on prototyping of game content during concept development phase.
