Sound Designer

Description

NCsoft NorCal, a software game development studio focused on creating outstanding innovative Massively Multiplayer Games (MMORPGs), is seeking an exceptional Sound Designer to work on the award winning City of Heroes franchise at their Mountain View, CA location. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing original audio content for the game – both sound effects and music.

Responsibilities:
• Work with art and design teams to determine audio needs
• Design and implement original audio content
• Able to creatively iterate with team on audio content
• Manage Voice Recording
• Voice Editing
• Use Existing Proprietary Tools to put audio assets into game
• Work with programming team on improvements to audio asset pipeline
• Managing existing database of audio assets
