Senior Technical Artist

Description

Relentless Software, a leading independent developer based in Brighton, UK is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to join our team working on our high profile, next generation, first party Sony titles.

The Senior Technical artist role is a key position for us as it will require you to work directly with both Senior Art and Code Lead and you will need the ability to understand and communicate technical issues from an aesthetic point of view.

We will expect you to supervise our Technical Artists and also train our 3d Artists in new techniques and author scripted tools. This will allow us to streamline new and existing workflow and communication between our Art and Code departments; ensuring that all our completed art assets are engine-legal.

The ideal candidate will have production-proven videogame experience and preferably an art related background, together with thorough understanding of current gen console art techniques.
