Look Development Director

Description

Turn 10 Studios, the creators of the Forza Motorsport franchise and a division of Microsoft Game Studios, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Look Development/Lighting Lead to join our world class Art Production Team in developing our next games on the Xbox 360. The primary responsibilities will include defining and driving the visual direction and style for Turn10 Art across multiple titles and guiding that vision to reality with the Art Production Team. Other responsibilities include, working cross functionally with program managers, programmers, designers and test. There is great opportunity for creative input, leadership and management as well as long term growth.

Job Responsibilities:
- Establish well defined visual targets that are in sync with franchise pillars and objectives
- Manage lighting production by providing clear direction and strong leadership, setting clear objectives and priorities, monitoring their process, progress and results
- Collaborating with the Technical Art Dept in determining, modifying and maintaining the most effective and efficient technical approach and workflow
- Assist the Department Leads with researching, developing, and implementing new techniques
- Mentoring and training as necessary
