Position: Render Technical Director (Render TD)
We are a Los Angeles based
production company in search of skilled TD who can trouble shoot errors
relating to our render pipeline as well as implement new solutions as our
existing pipeline evolves. Communication
skills are critical as you will integrate into a team of developers, CG artists
and production personnel. You should be driven, positive, and interested in the
opportunity to learn and create new systems and concepts, while adapting to the
changing needs of a cutting edge film production.
The position
requires:

Experience working in an FX or
similar department / in artist support roles.
·
Poweruser in Maya with generalist skills in
camera, animation and rendering.
·
Comprehension of photographic composition.
·
Knowledge of and experience using Linux environment.
·
Ability to script in python.
·
Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork
skills.
·
Strong time management skills.
·
Strong problem solving skills.
·
Strong technical skill.
Additional Preferred Skills
·
Previous Layout or Level Design experience a plus
·
Experience with non-linear editing software
(Avid, Adobe Premiere, or similar) a plus.
·
Knowledge of Nuke a plus
·
Knowledge of C++ and mel a plus
·
Experience with simulation software for visual
effects a plus.
·
Advanced user in MotionBuilder a plus
