Senior Art Director, Creative Services

Description

SCAD seeks a Senior Art Director for Creative Services to oversee a talented team of designers in developing everything from the annual catalog to ad campaigns, signature events to swag, branding to brochures, and a myriad of other dynamic, diverse projects.

The ideal candidate showcases a knowledge of design culture and technology trends, displays strong leadership skills, and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a creative, collaborative, and fast-paced environment. The candidate should be positive, proactive, and flexible with a keen eye for detail and should be a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills. The candidate should also exhibit a mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite.

Requirements:
- B.A. degree
- Eight or more years of experience in a design role at a media company, magazine, museum, university, or agency or creative environment
- Portfolio that showcases a sophisticated aesthetic, innovative use of typography, photography, illustration, and graphics, and a strong sense of composition with a variety of projects that show versatility in design and format
