Job Description
- Create compelling character performances, utilizing both key-framed and motion capture techniques
- Work on both cinematic and in-game features
- Organize complicated sets of animation data
- Work with the Animation Director to establish methods to improve the production pipeline, tools, and systems that will improve the quality of animation for the studio
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to establish, iterate, and refine the animation pipeline
Qualifications
- A demo reel that demonstrates proficient command of weight, timing, and posing through manipulating motion capture data as well as key-framing
- Proficient with standard industry tools like Unreal Engine and Maya and MotionBuilder
- You have 3+ years industry or related experience
- Work well in a creative, team-oriented environment, exhibiting excellent communication, time-management, and organizational skills
- Strong keyframe animation skills
- Strong communicator with a positive attitude
Bonus:
- Experience working with both body and facial performance capture pipelines
- A Bachelor's degree or diploma, with an emphasis in animation
- You have experience on AAA console games or high profile mobile titles
- Good technical knowledge of UE4 or other game engines
- You have knowledge of scripting in Maya and Python
- Knowledge of Perforce
- Strong acting ability
- High proficiency in technical problem solving
