Lead Animator

Description

RougeMocap is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Lead Animator to join our team! This talented individual should be able to work with the entire animation production line from integration to delivery if required. Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, self-motivated, flexible, and able to handle multiple projects with unwavering attention.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend and execute direction from our Animation Supervisor. 
• Works closely with the Animation Supervisor to help establish and implement best practices.
• Industry awareness and experience to formulate working creative plans.
• Leads and manages animation delivery pipelines.
• Provide feedback (written, reference, or direct drawover) to ensure work hits narrative, aesthetic, and product targets.
• Maintain or exceed a consistent level of productivity while meeting deadlines and producing high quality work.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Growth minded and motivated towards teaching, enabling, and coaching other animators. 
• Self-motivated, quick thinking, and proactive with the ability to quickly pivot from one task to the next. 
• Strong understanding of animation principles - timing, weight, and staging.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize team work in the context of given timescales and quality requirements.
