Render Manager

Responsible for rendering and monitoring footage of the created product for editing. This role monitors and manages the render farm to keep it running at maximum capacity.

Essential Functions
* Responsible for rendering footage and sending render files
* Must check footage for quality control
* Manage the render farm with updates, logging issues and licensing issues for technical purposes
* Manage priorities for renders among the projects
* Maintain render schedule and communications
* Assist artists with render job submissions and errors
* Monitor, manage and check rendered shots, verifying delivery for dailies & rounds
* Maintain rendering priorities and resource allocations for various productions.
* Assist artists/team with other duties as assigned

* Bachelor’s Degree + 1 year internship
* Prefer experience with a rendering management software; preferably Royal Render
* Experience in programming or composing packages with the ability to customize aspects of rendering pipeline; scripting skills preferred

* Capability to prioritize and assist others
* Attention to detail a must
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Fundamental systems administration skills and general technical troubleshooting experience.
* Must be able to work in a team environment and must work well with others
* Ability to work quickly, to meet deadlines, while retaining a high standard of work
* Ability to handle a fast paced, occasionally high pressure environment
* Willingness to work very flexible hours, including weekends, evenings or nights when production schedules require
* Must have good time management skills - of self, work, time and projects
