JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working closely with the Art Director, the Character Artist will be primarily responsible for creating high quality character models and textures for our upcoming projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Expert knowledge of one of the following modeling applications: Maya or 3D Studio Max
• Expert knowledge on how to properly build and prepare a character model for animation
• Very strong texturing skills as well as knowledge in using Zbrush or similar software
• Strong hard surface modeling skills
• Ability to be receptive to art direction and to perform well within a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to work within a highly dynamic environment where team members typically have multiple responsibilities
