The Department of Art and Design at Augusta University is a NASAD accredited, multi-disciplinary department, offering comprehensive programs that explore both traditional and contemporary practices in visual and performing arts. Faculty and students are actively engaged in peer-recognized, tier-one level national and international research, scholarship, and creative activities. The department engages students in both cutting-edge technologies and traditional practices facilitating opportunities for faculty and students to engage in interdisciplinary research with departments across the campus including our world-class medical facility and state-of-the-art cyber center.
