About The Bakery

The Bakery is a new computer animation studio. Our ambition is to create world-class computer generated feature films that appeal to audiences of all ages.Our team is comprised of seasoned experts in the field of computer animation and visual effects, with previous experience in studios such as Pixar, PDI/Dreamworks, Sony ImageWorks and ILM. The Bakery is a technology company. Like Pixar and PDI/Dreamworks, we are developing proprietary tools from animation to final rendering. Developing the tools, we learned, is the best way to control costs and avoid artistic limitations.
What makes The Bakery unique in Europe is that we are bringing in talent from the USA: as of today, 35% of our employees have worked in major American animation studios. To fulfill our ambition, most of our key people have an American track record: CEO, CTO, Producer, Production manager, Visual FX supervisor, Production supervisors, Head of layout , Head of FX, Head of Surfacing, CG supervisor, Head of Pipeline, Head of animation, etc...
We are currently developing several original stories for feature films.We intend to start the production of our first feature film within two years, with an estimated production team of 250 people.
