As a leading previsualization studio, HALON has provided mobile teams of artists for short and long term projects with such acclaimed Directors as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, James Cameron and Ridley Scott. HALON’s teams can work on set or location and are equipped with the latest tools to help plan a successful production.

Pre-visualization involves creating rough computer animation versions of complex sequences and was an essential element of producing such films as Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Speed Racer. It allows the director to establish what each of the shots will look like long before production begins; making it easier on literally everyone involved in the production process.

Using high end tools including our virtual camera system, HALON can plan out complex decisions to scale in a safe and easy to change 3D environment. Committing this effort up front can save time, frustration and a lot of money when you hit the set and the stakes are the highest. Having the previs road map in your pocket or on your iPhone/iPad to guide the decision making process on a chaotic set is a tremendous advantage to the director who needs to focus on performance and story.
