Summary

I am an artist with a passion for interactive software and animation. I've led, researched, and created several highly technical projects, including iPad apps, interactive trade-show booths, military simulators, web/television videos, motion graphics, and instructional/informational engineering films. Many projects required me to create new assets from the ground up. Not only have I created effects for a number of character projects, but I have also animated characters. At Dimensional Innovations (6.5 years), I am responsible for: - Interactive Unity design and development in C# - Interactive experience development concepting and previsualization - Architectural previsuilazition - 3d animation and motion graphics - Research new interaction methods (Kinect, VR, haptics, etc.) In my 11 years at Bazillion Pictures, I developed a wide range of skills: - Unity 3d - 3d Studio Max - Photoshop - AfterEffects My responsibilities included: - Developed high-level game mechanics for several of the projects we created. - Wrote design documentation for approval by the client. - Wrote user stories to coordinate design goals with clients. - Used visual scripting plugins Uscript and Playmaker to prototype levels. - Grayboxed and finished levels for military simulators, experience sites, mobile apps, and trade show games. - Modeled both hard and soft surface objects, including characters, environments, and props. - UV layout and animation for video and interactive models. - Created and converted assets to game resolution. - Setup materials and custom shaders for a variety of objects. - Created particle systems for environment and user interaction. - Created custom, mobile-friendly shaders via Shader Forge for a construction game. - Developed pipelines and methodology for the interactive department. - Discovered time-saving plug-ins and trained artists on their use. - Managed production to keep it on time and on budget. - Photoshop - created modular textures for interactive projects. - Particle Flow - Visually scripted complex particle systems for various video products, including water flow diagrams, storm debris, and abstract projections. - After Effects - Created particle effect visuals, streamlined sprite sheet creation, and produced concept visuals for interactive projects.
